Lorraine Bauer hired to increase market share in Northern Virginia

ROCKVILLE, MD — October 22, 2019 – Rory S. Bauer’s experience encompasses leasing, selling and investing in commercial properties that include office, retail, multi-family, and triple net lease investments. Bauer also has a strong representation in Northern Virginia’s residential real estate. Currently, she is representing a developer for the sale of 200 townhomes and acquiring additional residential property for development.

Having lived in Northern Virginia for over 20 years, Bauer, has seen dramatic changes in the market. “Virginia’s real estate market continues to see growth over the years due to the proximity to Washington D.C., and the influx of technology companies, data centers, and other industries.” said Bauer. “Stafford, Loudoun, Spotsylvania and surrounding areas are more affordable and this is important to new/first time home buyers. Another major reason for growth is the expansion of the Metro, which is still ongoing. Fulfilling a passion, she has always had for real estate, Lorraine Bauer made the transition from technology into Virginia’s commercial real estate market over five years ago. Her career began with IBM in technology sales and management. She’s managed sales teams at IBM, Xerox, Oracle, and several start-up techs companies. Bauer understands Virginia’s marketplace from an economic growth standpoint and has brought with her a highly successful approach in working with clients. During Bauer’s first year selling real estate, she was awarded “Rookie of the Year” and then achieved Gold Level performance status in subsequent years.

Lorraine lives in Great Falls, Va, and enjoys Pilates, golf, spending time with her dogs, and participates in local charities.
