2017 Race for Every Child
Coakley Realty is proud and honored to support this year’s 2017 Race for Every Child. It’s a 5K walk, run, and kids dash taking place on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC. The purpose of this race is to support Children’s National Health System in their efforts to develop innovative therapies, invest in research to cure childhood diseases, and provide access to the same level of world-class care for every child—even if their family can’t afford to pay.
The Moses Warren McCord Memorial Fund
We’re raising money for Team #RememberingMoses. Donations will benefit the Moses Warren McCord Memorial Fund, which is supporting acute care, palliative care, and research for the most vulnerable NICU babies at Children’s National, which was recently ranked the #1 NICU in the entire nation by U.S. News and World Report.
Moses was born healthy and strong at 32 weeks to our newest Coakley Realty team member, Mac McCord, and his wife, Sara. Unfortunately, Moses fell ill and, despite doctors doing all they could, his health deteriorated quickly. He passed away at only 19 days old. Following Moses’ unexpected passing, Mac and his wife decided two things: they wanted to find a way to honor his legacy so people would know their sweet, strong boy, and they wanted to help the most vulnerable babies get well enough to go home to their families.

From all of us here at Coakley Realty, we wanted to introduce you to our newest Coakley Realty real estate agent, Mac McCord. Mac comes to Coakley with more than a decade of experience in consulting and assisting families in important life decisions. As a former college football coach, he will continue to prioritize families’ assurance that their loved ones are being taken care of. As a real estate agent, Mac is dedicated to being a helpful resource to guide you and ensure you are satisfied with the end result.
